PUKETE PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWSLETTER 8 May 2015 Does your child bike to school? While I think it is great for children to bike to school I think we need to be very mindful of their safety!! I would suggest to the parents of children who are biking to school that you satisfy yourself that your child is safe, maybe you could bike with them or behind a couple of times and assess their ability to cope with heavy traffic around the school. Much better to be safe than sorry. Perhaps a scooter is a safer option? Room 6 – Sophie – Determination Amazing progress with your basic facts knowledge. You have gone up so many steps on the Maths Ladder and you are confidently displaying your new knowledge. By observing your determination, many other children have been motivated to do well too. The final score was 2-2. The second game was against Rototuna Red and everyone played really well. Ryan scored a goal in this game and McKenna did a great job defending while Hayley, Azalea, Armani and Steph got in there and attacked the ball. The Eagles won 1-0. Player of the day went to Keira for her great defending in goal when it really counted.
