Lot1. John Bell Tranent . One bred off 2nd Open Reims when paired to a
daughter of Annfield Belle 1st National Tours, 2nd National Andrezele.
Lot2. Wilson & Jack Lanark. National winning loft, Davy and Robert
have been winning from the channel for many years. This youngster is off
their 39th open Reims hen paired to a son of their National winner
Peanuts.
Lot3. Jock McKenzie Anstruther. Top Kingdom channel loft, Jocks
results have been very consistent at the distance with some great positions
to his credit.
Lot4. Ben Veitch East Saltoun. A young fancier who has had an
exceptional season in National racing, 1st Sect 5th Open Wanstead. 2nd
Sect 3rd Open Reims, 2nd sect 8th Open Fontenay. 2011.
Lot5. Brian Denney York. A legend in long distance racing, this is the
first of a pair of nest mates gifted by Brian. They are inbred to Brian’s
champions, perfect for stock. Sire is a full brother to Dancer, Dark Charm
and John, the dam is a daughter of Dancer when paired to a daughter of
Tuff-Nut and Cilla. They don’t come any better than this.
Lot6. Stuart Young Bonnyrigg. 1st of a pair from Stuart from his
excellent channel winning family sire flown Tours(just out the prize list a
very hard race) Reims 2011. G/Sire 3rd Open Liege.Dam- John Ellis stock
bird.
Lot7. S&A Aitchison Eyemouth. 4 times National winners from
Nantes,Andrezele,Clearmont and Appledore.
Lot8. Walter McGaffney Lesmahagow. Walter is a very experienced
fancier and has been extremely consistent from the channel for many
years.
Lot9. Brian Kelly Chirnside.1st of a pair ,Brian has a tremendous record
in National racing he has been 3rd Open three times and second open 9
times. Winner of 1st Yearling Arras 2011, 3rd Open. 1st Sect 2nd Open
Fontenay 2011.
A youngster direct of his yearling winner Apple.
Lot10. Les McKay Carnoustie. Winer of SNFC Liege National and
SNRPC Sainte’s 740 miles. A Grand Child of Berts Boy the Liege
winner.
Lot11. Norman Renton Foulden. First of a pair from Norman. One of
the best national winning lofts in Scotland, 1st Open SNRPC Andrezele
2009.Normans birds are much sought after and are winning all over.This
one is from a son off the Tours winner paired to a hen bred out the
brother of the Andrezele winner.
Lot12. Davy Whyte Cardenden. A great season for Davy, 1st Sect 2nd
Open Reims.
Lot13. John Callan Lesmahagow. John has a tremendous record in
national racing and this season has been no exception, 1st Sect E Arras.
Lot14. Peter Virtue Cockburnspath. Simply the Best. Winner of 6
nationals 1st Open Reims(Gold Medal), 1st Open Arras this season, this
fantastic family are winning out of turn for Peter in each race they are
entered.
Lot15. Ken Buchanan Hamilton. Top West of Scotland channel loft,
one direct from Ken’s 2nd Open Reims winner
Lot16. Penman & Grub Thornton. One of the Kingdoms most
consistent performance lofts in recent years, One from Pete’s fine family
on distance pigeons.
Lot17. HS&E Butterworth Haddington. Reims Gold Medal winner
2009, Harvey always features in the Channel events. One the same way
bred as his Reims winner Harperdean Bullet.
Lot18 W Davidson & Son Coalburn. One of the best distance lofts in
Scotland without a doubt. Anyone interested in channel racing will be
more that aware of Billy and Davy’s outstanding achievements. 1st,2nd ,3rd
section 4th 5th 6th open in the very hard Fontenay national is season.
Lot19. A K Stainthorpe Lesmahagow. This is a top distance loft and
has been for years, Kerr is known and respected everywhere as a true
gentleman of the sport. 2nd Section Reims 2011.You can be assured of a
high quality youngster.
Lot20. John Ellis Wellbank Dundee. I need say no more, anyone
interested in long distance racing will know John as one of the greats, his
performances are phenomenal. This one is off this seasons 4th Open Arras
while the dam is bred out Wellbank Prince paired to a daughter of John
Duthies Gold Award winner.
Lot21. Wilf Flockhart Tranent. Well established top East Section loft,
Gold Medal winner from Reims 2006. This YB is bred from a son of
John Proctors McFly paired to a daughter of Wilfs Gold Award winner
Coalneuk King.
Lot22. Ian Ross Kirkintilloch. 1st Section F Fontenay 201, 2nd &3rd Sect
Reims 2011, Ian has won section F 8 times. One from his distance family
Sire stock, Dam of the YB is the Red Hen that won the Sect from
Fontenay this year. Her dam is a full sister to the bronze award hen,
Walkerville Lass and sire is closely related to the 8th Open Cholet hen.
Lot23. Garry Hall Thornton. Garry is very consistent in the big national
events, winner of two Bronze awards in the last two seasons, good honest
hard working channel pigeons.
Lot24. Jackie Ritchie Fraserburgh. Jackie has very kindly donated a
youngster bred direct off his great friend the late Tom Currie’s Reims
winner Jay Jay when paired to his Dam. Jackie was gifted Jay Jay after
Tom’s untimely passing last year. A rare chance to enhance your stock
with this superbly in- bred youngster.
Lot25. Ian McLaren Largo. Ian is another very good channel flyer and
has been for many years, he has some tremendous stock pigeons from the
very best around and they are winning for others.
Lot26. Norman Renton Foulden. 2nd youngster from Norman.
Lot27. John Anderson Anstruther. Well established national prize
winning loft, John has been winning for many years. 5th Sect 10th Open
Reims. 2nd sect 5th Open Arras. 10th sect 18th Open Fontenay all 2011.
Lot28. Bruce McKenzie Dundee. Another past national winner, Bruce
has a great record in both Scottish Nationals and is one of the top fanciers
north of the Tay.
Lot29. Hendry Bros Hamilton. 1st & 2nd Open from this years Inland
National. 6th &8th Sect 23rd & 30th Open Fontenay on a very hard day.
Vince has kindly donated 2 youngsters one each from his 1st and 2nd Open
pigeons.
Lot30. John Ellis Wellbank. Second youngster. Bred direct out Little
Princess 1st Sect 2nd Open Wanstead Flats 2010, Sire full brother to 4th
Open Arras.
Lot31. Ian M Brown Powmill. Bred from a 2 year old cock who flew
Reims this year while the dam is from his 24th Open Reims pigeon 2008.
Lot32. Frank Hillan Coalburn. A Good winning loft flying into a very
competitive area, 9th Sect 30th Open. 17th Sect 58th Open Reims 2011.
Lot33. Andrew Lees Eyemouth. One of the best lofts in the East of
Scotland, You rarely see a national result without Andrews name on it.
This one is direct out his 7th and 9th Open winner.
Lot34. Dan Mitchell & Son Plains. National winning loft from
Wanstead. Three times winner of section E.
Lot35. John Stokes Carstairs. Great distance loft, John has been
outstanding from Reims the last two years winning 1st Sect 5th Open 2011
1st Sect 3rd Open 2010.
Lot36. J&J Hunt Dundee. A quality loft from North of the Tay, Joe has
had some excellent positions over the years flying excess of 580 miles
from Reims. 6th sect Reims 2011.
Lot37. Jim Anderson Cardenden. One of Fife’s best fanciers never far
away in the big events, 3rd Sect 6th Open Reims, 5th Sect 12th Open
Fontenay 2011.
Lot38. Willie Johnston Carluke. West section loft with a very good
reputation, Willie completed the channel season with a great 2nd section
27th open from Arras on a very difficult day for his area.
Lot39. John Murdoch Greenock. 1st section this season from Arras. 3rd
section 2010 Arras. A good winning loft in a difficult location.
Lot40. Davy Burns Kirkcaldy. This is a top class Fife loft, completing a
tremendous season winning 1st 3rd and 6th Open 1st 2nd 3rd section from the
very hard Fontenay National 538 miles.A youngster from the 3rd & 6th
Open pair.
Lot41. Hendry Bros Hamilton. Second youngster from Vince.
Lot42. Brian Denney York. Second youngster, another chance to get
one of the best.
Lot43. Jim Benvie Ladybank. From a direct son of Kingdom Boy
paired to a Steve Wright Jan Aarden. The sire has been clocked from
Reims the last two seasons and was 49th Open Arras.
Lot44. Stuart Young Bonnyrigg. Second youngster nest mate of lot6.
Lot45. Grant Caird Dundee. Grant has many great performances in the
distance events flying north of the river Tay, Winner of a SNRPC Bronze
Champion Award.
Lot46.Jim Wilson Eyemouth. (formally Walker&Wilson) winners of 9
National races in the SNRPC and SNFC
Lot47. John Duthie Dundee. Another of Scotland’s best, tremendous
record in channel racing certainly too many to list. SNFC Reims Gold
Cup winner 2010.
Lot48. Brian Kelly Chirnside. Second youngster from Brian.
Lot49.Jim O’Hara Allanton. Top Lanarkshire loft great record in the
channel events you can be sure this will be a good one.
