Invitation to participate in
“1st All India Book review competition for schools.” (April 16 to May 31,
2015) now extended up to 31st July 2015.

Respected Sir/Madam,
www.ihavereadthebook.com is an initiative to encourage the Children to read and
share their reading experience with other Children. This website will present them
with thousands of books suitable for their age group. It will encourage the Children
to read distinctive books and share the story with others.
The website will conduct multiple events for students, to enhance their reading and
writing skills. Competitions will be organized and Winners will be declared on a
Monthly basis. We look forward for the active participation from your School.
Here is the first National level Book review competition (for the period April
16 to May 31, 2015. Now extended up to 31st July 2015*.
The process
1. Pl check whether your school is registered on the web site. If not, register your school by
putting the relevant

2. Encourage the children to register***( a registration process is attached herewith) on the
website . Each child will have his/her page on the website.
3. Suggest them to read at least 5 books and write reviews on the website. For each review
the child will get the points. Based on the number of reviews written the student will be
upgraded to various level of ABC

4. We have created a system by which all the points received by the children of your school
reflect in the School’s account which will be used to rank the schools. The point earned by
the individual student would remain in their account.
Minimum requirement to qualify for the competition:
A. Minimum number of students to be registered from the School: 100
B. Minimum accumulated points from the students of the School: 2000 (during the
competition period)
Top 20 schools will be listed in the newsletter based on their monthly and cumulative points.
The Winner School of this competition will receive a reward of book vouchers
worth INR 15000.
We have added a prize for students, too!!! Top 5 students (with a minimum of
10 book reviews) will receive a reward of book vouchers worth INR 1000
each.
Once a school is a winner for any month, it will not be considered for the monthly
winner award for the next 12 months but it can participate in the annual
competition. . The discussion with the winning school's Principal will be published
on the web site.
We are very keen to find out the winner for 1st competition. The result would be
declared on 1st August 2015.
We have invited 10,000 CBSE Schools, 1700+ ICSE Schools and 100 + IGCSE
Schools to participate this competition. Over 100 Schools have responded and
their students have already started registering on the website & writing
reviews on their page. We invite every child from your school to participate in the
competition. Some exciting rewards for them, too!
