CHAIN OF COMMAND FOR CONTACTING THE SCHOOL
/SETTING UP MEETING
If you have questions regarding your students’ academic, behavior,
classroom etc. contact the TEACHER directly. Contact GRADE LEVEL
CHAIR concerning events, field trips, and other grade level wide activities
or if you would like to schedule a meeting with multiple teachers at the
same time (for students with multiple content teachers). Contact the
GRADE LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE LEAD if you would like to talk to
an administrator regarding an emergency concern, or classroom issue
and/or you feel it was not resolved at the teacher or grade chair level.
PRINCIPAL– If you have spoken to the grade level administrator and feel
that the issue was not resolved.
EARLY DISMISSAL ON TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2015
NO SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2015!
Lunch times – Due to expanded enrollment, we have changed the lunch schedule
to accommodate the growing student population. Please see the revised schedule
for your student’s new lunch times, we will also be discussing changes to the
Friday Parents lunch.
Changing your students dismissal procedure - Please be advised that there is a 24
hour advance notice required to change your students dismissal process
Student Uniforms – Please be advised that baby blue is not one of our uniform
colors. Our uniforms are white or navy blue tops with khaki, jean, navy blue, and
black bottoms.
REMINDERS

Progress Reports will be sent home on September 18th.

NO SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 23RD DUE TO THE
FALL HOLIDAY.

Because of the fall holiday and for that week only, early
dismissal has been moved to TUESDAY September 22nd.

Coffee with the Administration is September 30 at 8:30 A.M.

Pre-kinder BOY Assessment is September 28-30.


Planning periods – If you wish to
schedule a meeting with your
student’s teacher, please email the
teacher directly and/or contact the
front office. We ask that the
requests are made at least 48 hours
in advance so that the teachers
have time to respond as to
whether or not they are available
for the conference. Please be
advised that we do not pull
teachers out of classrooms for in
the moment parent conferences.
Teachers email addresses can be
found on the school website.
Conference times are available in
the main office and are also being
sent in your students boomerang
folder.
Teacher email contact – Please see
the school website for all teachers
email addresses. Understand that
teachers are teaching during the
day and often do not have the
opportunity to sit in a computer
and respond to emails until after
school and/or the following day.
Teachers have a 24-48 hour
window of time to respond to
emails.
