SAINT MARY’S MEDICAL GROUP WELCOMES PEDIATRIC
PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN SUSAN RIBEIRO M.D., F.A.A.P.
RENO, Nev. – Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 – Susan Ribeiro, M.D., F.A.A.P. will be joining Saint Mary’s
Medical Group as the first pediatric primary care physician within the network on December 30. Ribeiro
will practice at 18653 Wedge Parkway, Ste. 130 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The
expanded practice offers care that extends to the whole family including primary, urgent and now

Dr. Ribeiro is a medical school graduate from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. She also
completed an internship and residency at the University of California, Irvine at the Department of
Pediatrics, UCI Medical Center in Orange County and Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. Prior
to joining Saint Mary’s Medical Group, Dr. Ribeiro practiced at a private multi-specialty group in Carson
City and has practiced in Nevada for nearly 14 years. Ribeiro is board-certified in pediatrics and is a
member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2012, Ribeiro received a Circle of Excellence Award
and in 2001, she received the Robert Hulse Sensitivity Award.
Pediatric primary care physicians are specially trained to work with children and their families to achieve
optimal physical, social and emotional development. Saint Mary’s team of experts treats children from
birth to adolescence. The new practice will offer services including well baby and child visits,
immunizations, development testing, physical exams, and more.
Saint Mary’s at Galena also offers diagnostic testing including MRI, X-Ray, Ultrasound, bone density
scanning along with a comprehensive outpatient surgery center and lab services provided by LabCorp.
