The Anglican Centre Manager (Part-Time) Experienced Office Manager required for a varied and pivotal role. The Anglican Centre is a shared service provider, which provides financial and administrative services to three Anglican Entities: Anglican Care, The Diocese of Christchurch and Church Property Trustees. The aim of the Anglican Centre is to support, resource and enable the ministry and mission of the Anglican Church in Canterbury/West Coast. As Anglican Centre Manager, your role is a pivotal one that builds bridges across all elements of the Church to ensure a seamless and efficient operation. This is a permanent, part-time role with a contractual agreement to work 25 hours per week across five days. Please note that there will also be additional work required of a project nature (e.g. sourcing of new office premises for the Anglican Centre), which will be paid at an hourly rate and capped at an extra 15 hours per week. This further work may be performed remotely. You will become responsible for the management of operational systems and processes, including those relating to human resources, procurement, health and safety and information technology. Due to the experience you have gained in previous positions, you have a deep knowledge of all things that contribute to the smooth day to day running of an office. You are a natural leader who leads by example, forming cohesive and effective teams. Proactive, organised and with superior communication skills, you come with an open mind and a high level of motivation, willingly lending your talents to wherever they are most needed. To be effective in this role you will have: Appreciation of the ethos and values of the Anglican Church. At least five years’ experience in senior administrative roles involving staff management. Exceptional leadership abilities and staff management expertise. Experience in and an understanding of operational administration and coordination, particularly relating to HR and IT. Proven expertise in process improvement and implementation. High standards of professionalism in your written and verbal communication. This opportunity will not disappoint.
