Situation desperate!!!!!! YOUR netball league will not continue in September unless volunteers come forward to sit on the committee……………………. Your committee is made up of people like you who simply want to make sure that the game we love continues to be played in Thurrock by its 1500+ members. We know that your time is precious but we have no choice but to ask you to consider giving up some of it as without you we are nothing and without a committee you cannot play! Being a committee member may sound a little scary but it isn’t, we welcome everybody, people of all ages, with or without experience that simply want to do their bit. We look first to our members as they are passionate about netball and in almost all cases already playing, umpiring, coaching, managing teams and therefore are perfect to sit on the committee but we also welcome spectators, mums, dad’s, cousins, aunties in fact anyone who feels that they have time to spare to learn some new skills, make new friends and give something back by keeping the league running as it has done for nearly 50 years. So how about it, would you like to continue playing netball and volunteer to sit on the committee?
