This whole term we have been covering a lot of history, learning about Ancient Civilisations,
particularly their achievements and what they’ve done for us!
For this long term homework we are asking you to do some history research of your own.
Pick a question below, research it and present it. You can
answer the question in any way you like – in writing, on the
computer, a speech or anything else you can think of!
 What do the Ancient Egyptians believe about life
after death?
 How did the Egyptians build the pyramids?
 Who is the most famous Ancient Egyptian?

 Which invention has affected your life the most? Why? (from any time, ancient or recent!)
Your project is due in on Thursday 26th March. If you need help finding information to answer your
question, please ask your teacher – you can use the class books, the books in the library and the
laptops during homework club on Monday lunchtimes.
