Upcoming PTO Board Meeting Dates:
Regular PTO Board meeting will be the first Monday of the month at 9am-11:00 at the base library. If the first
Monday is a holiday, the PTO Board will meet on the second Monday of the month.

Updates:
President/Vice President:
1. Eumiko Egins volunteered to fill the President slot, in hope that the Vice president slot would be filled and
complete the PTO Executive Board.
2. She will provide wording of goal/mission statement for the PTO.
Treasurer:
1. Lacey Flowers presented the attached budget and fiscal report.
Secondary Sunshine:
1. MaryAnne Putman presented her plans for the upcoming Staff Appreciation Italian theme Luncheon on 6
November.
2. SignUp Genius has been created for this event.
3. She is recognizing staff birthdays with a $5 Subway gift card.
4. For Halloween, baskets of candy with a PTO greeting were left in teacher work and break rooms.
5. She is planning a cookie exchange for Christmas Staff Appreciation.
Elementary Sunshine:
1. Victoria Lemons presented her plans for the upcoming Staff Appreciation Light Luncheon on 21 November.
2. SignUp Genius has been created for this event.
3. She is recognizing staff birthdays with small gifts.
AR:
1. Emily Fries was out of town but updated board by means of the following email.
The AR store on the 31st was a success. We had plenty of volunteers and a lot of good feedback.
I am going to inventory our stuff again and the next store is Feb. 20th.
Spirit Wear:
1. Beth Thompson reported we have 33 RES t-shirts available.
2. 2013-2014 Spirit wear will be sold at PTO Events, for $5 per shirt and $4 per water bottle.
3. She is researching and PTO will sell winter weight Spirit Gear. A small amount will be ordered to have on hand
at events and others will preordered.
Boxtop and Redemption:
1. Janet Lujan was unable to attend but reported through email.
Randolph Elementary School Box Tops contest concluded last month. Over 10,000+ box tops were submitted.
We anticipated classes would submit over 1,000+ box tops, however only 5 classrooms exceeded 500 box tops,
therefore they will receive a consolation Doughnut Party. Teachers (Aniol, Carruthers, Gross, Jackson and
Walker) were contacted and once they provide an estimate day and time, doughnuts will be delivered to these
classrooms.
2. In addition, the winners for Randolph MS/HS Box Tops are:
1st Prize $25 iTunes gift card. Caitlyn Mulvaney
2nd Prize $10 iTunes gift card: Jacob Mulvaney
3rd Prize $10 Sonic gift card: Brennen Patterson
The MS/HS collected over 2400 Box Top points.
3. Randolph is expected to receive a check in December regarding the money earned from box tops.
4. Labels for education were collected and 6,674 points were submitted last month. These points will be added to
our balance. A catalog is available on line to purchase equipment earned by labels for education.
Secretary/Membership/Publicity:
1. Lisa Schloemer reported that, in order to recruit more parent volunteers, the newsletter will go to everyone on
the PTO mailing list, will be posted on the web page and be linked to the webpage from Facebook.
RES Yearbook:
1. Tricia Thomas has received flyers from photographer for RES yearbook and will distribute to students.
2. Tricia will send letter to room parents asking for photos. She will work on specific to upload photos from room
parents.
Spirit Night:
1. Heather Strable presented the days of upcoming Spirit Nights.

Turkey Bingo/ Silent Auction Night:
1. Emily Fries and Heather Strable are co-chairs.
2. It will be held, Thursday, 20 November, 5:00 to 8:00pm. 5:00 dinner and silent action begins, 6:00-8:00 Bingo,
(Silent auction will end at 6:30. Winners announced at 7:00)
3. Project Graduation will provide dinner/ drinks for sale and PTO will sell popcorn, nachos, and cookies.
4. The deadline to turn in Baskets/donations is 14 November. MS/HS volunteers will provide materials used to
wrap baskets.
5. Each Elementary classroom has a Basket Theme and the classroom whose baskets bring in the most funds will
get a pizza party.
6. The General Membership will meet the PTO Board and General Membership meeting will be announced prior to
Bingo.
7. SignUp Genius has been created for volunteers and another for wrapping supplies.
Secondary Scholastic Book Fair:
1. Christine Glaspie will be recovering from surgery on book fair date Monday, 1- Friday 5 December. The books
will be delivered, Monday, 24 November. Dawn Norman said she would co-chair.
2. Sign-up Genius has been created for volunteers.
Other Business:
1. PTO Scholarship: To be eligible for PTO Scholarship, family must be PTO member by 15 December 2014.
