NOTICE INVITING SHORT TERM TENDER

1.0
Sealed Bids in two covers are invited for Digitization & plotting of Drawings
pertaining to Sharavathy Generating station from experienced manufacturer /
supplier / agency / firm having proven track records for carried out similar works,
having adequate financial resources and past experience.
2.0
The Bidder shall have the following minimum Qualifying Requirements for Pre Qualification:
a) The bidders should be regular manufacturer / supplier / agency / firm who have
successfully completed Scanning and Redrawing of drawing in Auto CAD for any of
the Offices / Schools / Colleges /reputed organizations /utilities. In proof of above,
satisfactory performance certificates/work completion certificate issued by
competent authority of utility shall be furnished.
b) The Bidders in the last five financial years should have achieved in at least two
financial years an average annual financial turnover of Rs.5.00 lakhs. In proof of
above, Annual Report/turn over certificates duly certified by chartered accountant
shall be furnished.
c) Bidder shall have PAN No, VAT No. In proof of above, PAN No, VAT No/ copies shall
be furnished.
d) Service Tax Registration Certificate shall be furnished.
e) Tenderer have to compulsorily visit work site i.e., Sharavathy Generating Station,
Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd., Jogfalls-577 435, Karnataka before quoting to
have hands on information about drawing conditions& the work . The letter issued
from Executive Engineer (Elec.) S1 Division Sharavathy generating Station has to
be enclosed as a proof of visiting the site.
f) Bidder should furnish duly signed Declarations form attached in the Bid
document.
g) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.13,000/- (Rupees Thirteen Thousand Only)
shall be furnished in the form of Crossed Demand Draft in favour of Assistant
General Manager(Finance) KPCL, Jogfalls - 577 435 and payable at State Bank
of Mysore, Jogfalls, Shimoga (District). Bids not accompanied by EMD are liable to
be rejected.

The Bid Documents can be had in person or by Post. The request for Bid
Documents shall be accompanied by a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of Assistant
General Manager(Finance) KPCL, Jog falls-577 435 and payable at State Bank of
Mysore, Jogfalls, Shimoga (District) for Rs.106/- inclusive of VAT @ 5.5% (nonrefundable) andRs.100/- extra if required by Post. KPCL is not responsible for any
Postal delay in receipt or non-receipt of the Bid Documents sent by Post.

SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED BIDS:
Completed Bids shall be submitted in two separate sealed covers duly super scribed
as “Technical and PQR Bid” (Cover – I) and “Price Bid” (Cover–II) respectively.
Demand Draft towards EMD of Rs.13,000/- shall be enclosed along with the
documents relating to Technical and PQR Bid in the first cover and this cover shall
form Part-I of the Bid. The Price Bid shall be enclosed in the second cover along with
service Tax declaration and shall be submitted as Part-II of the Bid. Name of the
work, Bid Notification No., Date and Due Date of Bids shall be super scribed on
both Part-I and Part-II of the Bids. Confirmation for having enclosed the requisite DD
towards EMD shall be available on the first Cover (Part-I of the Bid).

After opening of Part-I of the Bids and Evaluation of the Bids, the Price Bids (Part-II)
of such of the Bidders whose offers are technically suitable and meet the PQR in a
complete manner will be opened.

The Bid documents are not transferable. Incomplete Bids or Bids without EMD or
Telegraphic/E-Mail quotations are not acceptable. KPCL will not be responsible for
delay in receipt or non-receipt of completed Bids sent through Post or Courier
Service.
Corporation reserves the Right to accept any or reject any or all the Tender without
assigning any reasons.
