9th Grade Report Card Night
We are pleased to announce the second 9th Grade Report Card Night on Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents and staff after our first event in
November, we are eager to take this time to reflect on both the accomplishments and challenges faced by
the 9th grade this past year as well look toward the future and 10th grade. It is hard to believe that the
school year is 3/4 over.
We will begin the evening at 6:30 in the cafeteria with dinner and opening remarks. During this time we
will share the importance of student success in 9th grade, current grade data for the class of ’15, as well as
the academic supports Paint Branch currently has in place to assist its students. After dinner, you will be
able to choose from specific break-out sessions on the following topics: accessing students’ grades online,
working with the counseling department, PTSA parent tips for success, and reinforcing study skills at
home. The evening will conclude with you receiving your child’s third marking period report card a day
earlier than the rest of the school.
