Publish and create alignment around the School Readiness Action Plan.

Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Education
Committee so that the Plan can be introduced
and shared– i.e. make introductions, facilitate
scheduling of a meeting, attend meeting with
staff if possible, follow-up with a thank you note
to Chamber Chair.
Attend the Central Texas Education Funders
Forum on Sept. 19. SB6 staff will present the Plan
and ask Funders to align their early childhood
funding around the priorities in the plan.
Present a PP on the Plan to various civic or service
groups in Austin. This will involve attending a
short speakers’ training which will include all of
the talking points or a simple script, becoming
familiar with a Power Point presentation which is
ready to take on the road, communicating with
UW staff on potential “leads”, coordinating
schedules with UWATX
