Funding Last year a form sent to staff asking for requests; a wish list requests Agreed this year not to send out due to the extraordinary gift to the Arts Dept c). Musical Agreed at last meeting that 10,000tl to be given to Arts Instruments Department Mr Sargent (DS) explained the funding at the school (each dept gets the same budget – Arts shared between music, art & drama) DS discussed with the arts staff across whole school regarding what they wanted Felt the school needed a proper upright piano Visited shops on Saturday and managed to secure one for 10000tl including adjustable stool, set-up & 1st tune Voted and passed - money to given Arts Dept 3. Winter Term Events a). 13 Sep 85 people attended Brunch Held at Tarabya Bahçe due to other venues not being available Good choice, especially with the weather Requests from some parents for more events like it throughout the year b). 5 Oct – World Today!
