Dear Community,
What a blessing it was to hear the testimonies of the Women who were on Walk
92. I personally would like to thank all of you who had a part in Walk 92.
For those of you who were working on the walk, praying for the walk, and for
those who were attending sendoff, candlelight, and closing, I want to say “THANK
YOU.” But most of all, I want to thank the ones who took time to sponsor these
pilgrims. Without you there would be no Walks.
Please consider your responsible stewardship of the Walk to Emmaus. Your
faithful sponsorship of pilgrims for upcoming Walks is of the greatest importance.
This means of grace from God has blessed you and many others over the years.
So as members of the Emmaus community, we need to stand together in a responsible
way to see that this instrument of God’s grace moves forward to touch many more
lives. Christ is counting on You!
Let us come and Worship the One True God.

Well, Walk 92 has completed and the pilgrims now begin their 4th Days. Even though we have a little
time before the next set of walks or flights, we need not forget about the responsibility of sponsorship.
Sponsors of those on Walk 92 need to continue to support, pray for, and love the ones they
sponsored. We also need to begin the prayerful process of who the Lord will lead us to sponsor on the
next set of Chrysalis Flights or Walks to Emmaus. BEGIN NOW! PRAY NOW! FOLLOW GOD’S LEADING
NOW!! May God greatly bless and lead you all!!!

Meet New Board Member
Hi! My name is Diana Boyer. Columbus Area Emmaus Walk #9—Table of Sarah. I am a member of
First Christian Church of Columbus and I serve on the Emmaus Board as the Team Selection coordinator.
I have been married to Dan for 46 years. We have a daughter, Michelle, and a son, Ryan, and 4
beautiful grandchildren.
Last November, Dan and I started working out regularly with trainers at Tipton Lakes Athletic Club.
We enjoy bicycling, walking and traveling. I also love to read Christian fiction. We are both active in
Emmaus and have made many forever friends in this community of believers!.
I believe in the ministry of Emmaus because of the renewal and growth experienced by those
attending the Walk. We go back to our homes, churches and places of work on fire for the Lord and serve
Him with renewed energy and dedication. This is my second time to serve on the Emmaus Board. It is a
privilege and blessing to serve with the other members of our community.

What do I do now?
There are many opportunities for new (and veteran) Community members
to continue their “Walk to Emmaus” experience. Here are just a few.
Columbus Emmaus Gatherings
Gatherings are usually on the 3rd Friday of each month. It
is a time of worship, fellowship, and refreshments.
However, the April Gathering is at The Rock, 3990 Rocky
Ford Road, in Columbus. Pitch-in dinner is 7:00 PM.
New pilgrims don’t bring anything, except name tag &
cross. 4th Day meeting begins at 6:00 PM.
Sponsorship
Encourage others to
attend a Walk to
Emmaus. Help others to
learn about God’s love
and ways to serve Him.
Send-Offs, Candlelights, Closings
Fourth Day
Meeting
Come and learn about
Reunion Groups, and
how to make your
Fourth Days better.
As community members you can participate in future walks by coming to
any or all of these walk weekend events. You can buy your own candle at
the next candlelight for $5.oo. Candlelights are at Community Church of
Columbus, 3850 N. Marr Rd..
Make or Supply Agape for Walks
Express yourself with some “crafty” item
that helps show God’s agape love for the
pilgrims and team members.
Serve on an Emmaus Team
Consider volunteering to be on a future team. Training
Pray and Write
will be provided. You can serve in the conference
Write agape letters for pilgrims and
sign-up on the walk prayer charts.

We always need volunteers to serve on the set-up crew for the Walks.
This crew usually shows up on Wednesdays prior to “Send-Off” at 5 p.m.
