INS ePoster FAQ’s What’s included with an ePoster? Each ePoster consists of a 47 inch flat-panel monitor, mobile stand, shelf, computer, mouse device, and cable connectors. ePoster boards are being provided on a complimentary basis through the generous support of BD Medical. What are the screen dimensions? The actual useable screen size is 40.97” x 23.04”. Slide or page size should be set to these dimensions for best results. What are the stand dimensions? Landscape Mode Height – 83½” (~7ft) Width – 43½” (3.6ft) Depth – 38 1/3” (3.2ft) Are portrait or landscape presentations accepted? For the INS conference, we will only be accepting landscape presentations. A template is available via the link on the ePoster Presentation Guidelines page of the Phoenix meeting website. Which presentation software is required to present an ePoster? PowerPoint is required for presentation of your eposter. Is there a limit to the number of PPT slides in an ePoster? ePoster presentations must not exceed 3-5 PPT slides of content, including pages used for hyperlinked (enlarged) images, rotating graphics or for videos. (Internet service will not be available on site for video streaming; video files in .MP4, .MOV, or .WMV format must be submitted in addition to the PPT slides). Is there a file size limit for an ePoster? ePoster file size must not exceed 100 MBs, including any video. Please upload video files separately from PPT slides. Video length should not exceed 5 minutes. How do I advance slides? PPT slides can be setup to advance automatically or by mouse-click. A mouse device is provided with each ePoster so that you can advance your presentation at your own discretion. Is there on-site technical assistance? Yes, there will always be at least 2 ePoster technicians on-site to assist you with questions. I don’t know how to create a PPT ePoster. Is there assistance available for ePoster creation? Yes, the company providing ePoster technology, ePosterBoards, offers two levels of assistance: 1. General formatting and design questions (complimentary). Upload your completed PPT ePoster and video files via the link on the ePoster Presentation Guidelines page of the Phoenix meeting website. A separate link is provided for each ePoster category. Be sure to upload your materials to the appropriate category. Is there a deadline for ePoster submission? To share your valuable data with the entire infusion community, ePosters presented at the meeting will be published in the print and iPad editions of the Journal of Infusion Nursing. To ensure publication deadlines are met, ePosters presentations must be submitted by APRIL 4, 2014. Can I edit my ePoster after I’ve submitted it? Changes to your PPT presentation can be made after the submission deadline, but these changes will not be published. Please bring the updated version of your PPT presentation on a flash drive.
