Athletics & Sports: Intramural Sports
Alumni with gym memberships may participate in intramural sports in the
graduate/faculty/staff intramural league. There is no limit to the number of

ATLAS Database
Pitts Theology Library is excited to offer graduates of Candler access to
ATLAS, a web-based collection of major religion and theology journals
selected by leading scholars. ATLAS coverage areas include Bible,
archeology, and antiquities; human culture and society; church history and
mission; ecumenism; pastoral ministry; world religions and religious
studies; and theology, philosophy and ethics. Alums can use ATLAS as a
search tool to retrieve page images in more than seventy-seven different
journals with additional titles continually added. This web-access database
is searchable by title, keyword, author, subjects, scripture passage, journal
name, and language.
Emory Apparel/Bookstore

Provides access to Woodruff Library, Pitts Theology Library, and Woodruff
P.E. Center (with paid gym membership). Bring a photo ID and $10 to the
EmoryCard office, 270 Dobbs University Center. Valid for two years. Call

Continuing Education Discounts
Emory alumni get a 15 percent discount on all Goizueta (non-degree)
Executive Education programs (see www.goizueta.emory.edu/
executiveprograms/). Emory alumni also receive a 15 percent discount on
most Emory Center for Lifelong Learning non-credit adult education
courses (see www.cll.emory.edu).
The EAA offers a few career development programs and services. The
Emory Career Network Database offers an exclusive professional network
for Emory alumni and current students. The database houses the profiles
of thousands of Emory parents and alumni professionals, representing a
variety of fields. All members have volunteered to serve as career
contacts for fellow alumni and students who use the database. The EAA’s
Career Counseling/Coaching program provides professional guidance and
support for alumni that are advanced in their careers. Finally, the EAA’s
Emory Career Center provides services, free of charge, to alumni up to
two years after their date of graduation from Emory. These services
include resume and cover letter critiques, professional assessments and

Gym Memberships
Enjoy the outdoor swimming pools, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts,
as well as the indoor gymnasium, athletic equipment, and locker rooms at

memberships run a year to the day. The yearly membership fee is $300.00

courses scheduled throughout the year. A free one-day pass is available

Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions, a division of Kaplan, Inc., is pleased to

preparation courses offered at your local Kaplan Center and a $50 discount
on certain online test preparation courses. The Emory Kaplan Center is

Knowledge@Emory is a monthly online resource that offers the latest
business insights, information and research from a variety of sources. A
collaborative effort between the Goizueta Business School at Emory and
The Wharton School, the site includes analysis of current business trends,
interviews with industry leaders and faculty, articles on the most recent
business research, book reviews, conference and seminar reports, and

Library and Computing Services
With your alumni EmoryCard, you may check out books and use
computing facilities in the Robert W. Woodruff Library and the Pitts
Theology Library. Additionally, alumni may access the library’s online

License Plates
Alumni who want to customize their Georgia license plates can register
now for the redesigned Emory commemorative license plate.
Commemorative tags cost $25 (manufacturing fee) above the normal
Georgia license plate fees. To request a tag, applicants must submit a
MV-9C application to the DMVS; these forms are available online at
http://motor.etax.dor.ga.gov/motor/plates/ or by calling 404.362.6500.
Movers for Relocation
Emory Alumni receive a 60 percent corporate discount with A. Arnold
