UC TESOL coursework is well aligned with institutional, state, and national Standards, as shown in the
table above. The coursework covers a wide range of domains, such as core knowledge, English linguistics
in general, teaching methods and strategies, pedagogy, and field-based experience, along with
professional integrity.
