‘Exposing Heightism’, the retweets of hostile and hateful tweets about short men mostly from young women and teenage girls has now disappeared into the night. The man never actually bothered to give his name (assuming it was a ‘he’), as most Internet yokels do not give their name, especially people who make comments about this topic, but he did do short men a valuable service by exposing the incredible hate for short men coming from mostly young women on Twitter. The first time that I saw Exposing Heightism even I couldn’t believe the incredible hatred of young women for short men. Just to give you a sampling: Raisa@_AmorPuro - short guys have no place on this earth kylie@babykyy - I despise short guys Mary Alice @maryalicee_ - I can’t stand short guys Bap calendar @preteenager - I’m going to make short men illegal Redd @pr3ttyinpink88 – I feel insulted when short guys try to talk to me Glo @notgloriaboyd – Short men are lesser beings. IG : alwaysemm @killa_emm – I fucking hate short guys ! Babe . @SpadeOVOXO – short men are so evil probably because they are so close to the devil ….. Elyssabeth Roetzer @_elssabeth – My hatred for short guys grows more and more everyday Milkybar @tigersteffi - Short men should be hunted and made extinct. Katrina Byrd @MiiRealitYizME – Short men (under 5’10) have no purpose in this world… Araceli @Lovelyshelly_ I freaking hate short guys. Like why do u even exist ? Haha And this is just a very small sample of the incredible hate expressed on Twitter by mostly young women for short men. I need to point out that all one needs to do is to substitute the word ‘Black’, or ‘Hispanic’, or ‘Jew’, or ‘Muslim’, or ‘Gay’, or the name of any other group in place of the word ‘Short’ in any of the literally thousands of hateful tweets about short men on Twitter, and suddenly the sentence takes on a whole new meaning. I think the reader knows as well as this writer, that if tweets were made about any of the above groups like the ones above about short men, the posters would be banned immediately, and their tweets denounced as Hate. Instead, however, Twitter not only allows this sort of thing, but seems to celebrate it as well, as “Exposing Heightism’ was apparently taken down in the past BY Twitter, in response to COMPLAINTS BY THE POSTERS OF THIS KIND OF HATE THEMSELVES!!!!! Imagine, Twitter allowing the people who post this kind of hate to continue doing so and actually eliminating ‘Exposing Heightism in response to THEIR complaints!! This in itself is proof positive not only of the incredible hatred for short men, but it’s also a lesson in just WHO has the POWER here. It’s quite obvious that WOMEN and other protected groups have all the Power, so much power in fact that even when someone only points out THEIR hate, somehow that person must be banned and shut up. Twitter supports displays of hate by women and Blacks and others apparently, but when a short man merely displays their hate, that’s a reason to ban him. It is quite apparent that you are not supposed to point out any hatred expressed by any so-called “protected” group, as they have a right to hate, and Twitter will support them in that right. Is it any wonder that the guy just gave up in disgust? And this is yet another problem for the short-statured. The resistance against any kind of a “movement” for short people will be incredible. This guy was anonymous and still, he apparently gave up out of fear. Can it be said that short people represent their own worst enemy? In a way I think so. The short are going to have to start taking responsibility for the prejudice, discrimination and hate that they themselves are victims of, after all, they usually just stand there and do nothing when they’re victimized. And short people themselves spout off the same pablum that they are fed by a society that most definitely does not want another victim group rising up and gaining power. And the more deluded ones – like some of the posters on message boards such as reddit/r/short, actually attack other short people who are awakened and attempt to wake THEM up. Most short people are deluded and in denial. They don’t want to be awakened. They want to hear stupid clichés that make them “feel good”, especially the women. And speaking of the women, while a short man might be spouting off any clichés’ like, “good things come in small packages”, “Short people get rained on last”, etc., the short women are they themselves discriminating against the very same short guys and looking to Tall men for partners. The fact of the matter is most short men don’t have the cahonas to face reality. And if they do face even a little bit of it, they go about trying to deal with it in an individualistic fashion like “lifting weights” for example. Short men are often told to “workout” to compensate for their “shortcomings”, and then when they do, they’re told by the very same people that they have a “short man complex”. Or the foolish short man may attempt to be assertive. Society does not like short men, especially assertive short men. The short man walks away from all of this in a literal state of confusion; he’s damned if he does, and damned if he doesn’t. Nothing he does will be viewed as right. The effect of this becomes moral apathy. The short man begins to fall in line and accept his fate. This is exactly what happens on all of these messageboards that deals with the topic of short stature or anything to do with heightism. They’re usually manned mostly by kids in the 16-25 age group, and when they “outgrow” the message board and “give up”, a new crop of lesser posters come along and eventually the message board becomes a haven for sex ads, like Michael Calwell’s did. (And by the way Michael Calwell was another individual who did a disappearing act back in 2006. We’ll have more on him later) Maybe we’ll be surprised again and “Exposing Heightism” will re-appear at some point although I don’t think so. It appears that this guys’ Youtube account has been deleted as well. This short guy, even though he maintained anonymity, has now fallen by the wayside. Many short guys can’t take much heat, even when they’re anonymous. The short man in society – every society – is like some convenient scapegoat for society’s anger and hostility. It’s true on the street, in school, on the playground, in the workplace, on the athletic field, in the home, in the media, and even on the Internet. Even when the short man attempting to do something is protected by the cloak of anonymity.
