The program addresses the entire lifecycle of an organization, process, product, data centers or IT for example (raw material extraction, manufacturing, transport, usage, end of life) and not only the energy consumption during the usage phase as it is often the case. Atos has decided to decrease its carbon footprint by over 15% for the last two years: thanks to many efforts, we succeeded in reducing it by 34, 6% (at constant scope) within 3 years (20092011). Concerning ISO14001, objective to have main sites and strategic Data Centers certified by 2013 and work on an ISO 14001 Corporate Certification. 11 data centers were certified by 2010, three additional data centers were under certification process in 2011 and 11 sites are planned in 2012. Concerning the offices site, today 20 major offices sites are already certified. Office main sites with more than 400 employees represent around 80% of total sites: France, Germany, Poland, Spain, India, Brazil, United Kingdom and Belgium.
