HUB-Robeson Center Event Management Policy –
Mary shared that there is only one change to the policy from previous years.
 The one change is the Banner Policy for the hanging of posters at Osmond Building. This policy
was changed over the summer to come up with a student friendly workable system utilizing OPP.
UPAC will be funding the charges that OPP is charging to hang the signs. This will help with the
timeframe for billing and make it easier for student groups to reserve the space. USA will
schedule the hanging of the signs and coordinate the payment to OPP.

The room rental rates will change in January. The rates have been the same for over 7 years. The
request to change the rates was approved by Damon Sims and the Controllers Office and USA
has been sharing the information for quite some time through listservs and specific emails to our
clients. Everyone should be well aware that the change is occurring in January and hopefully will
be adjusting their budgets in accordance with these changes.
New Business –

the board to join the committee planning the festivities. Volunteers for the Grand Opening Committee are
as follows: Zach Longstreth, Lianne Liu, Teresa Adams, Zoe Green, Corbin Reno, Jen Guyer, Nicole
Benevento, Ed Sidwell, Pam Waters. There will be a meeting in January. Heide will coordinate the

Nothing new to report
The semester is nearly over. Programming is complete at the PRCC.
Carlos is working with the group of students who are involved with the Ferguson protest. These
will continue at various buildings across campus this week. The issue is not going away anytime
soon. There are other similar issues going on around the country. Carlos is recommending
respectful dialog. The group has received some negative feedback from the protest. There will
be an Open Forum next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Freeman Auditorium. Check out

The University is closed from 12/24 – 1/4.

The floor in Alumni Hall will be replaced over the break. It was damaged during a torrential rain

The next meeting will be scheduled the end of January and Heide will be sending out a doodle poll the
beginning of January to find a time that works for most.
Good Luck with finals! And enjoy your Holiday break!!
