Review Training
Initial Tier 2 Meeting
1. Coach meets with grade/vertical level team
 Check fidelity Using Tier 1 Strategies Checklist
 Use student data and decision rule to select an intervention and progress monitoring
tool
 Complete academic Instructional Planning Form (goal, schedule, data) or behavior daily
point sheet
2. Team determines who will contact parent to participate in plan development (and
students where appropriate)
3. Implement intervention
Behavior: 2-6 weeks; no more than 12 weeks
Academic: 6-8 weeks (≥80% of recommended); no more than 16 weeks
4. Coach will check fidelity in three weeks
