Coach meets with grade/vertical level team Check fidelity Using Tier 1 Strategies Checklist Use student data and decision rule to select an intervention and progress monitoring tool Complete academic Instructional Planning Form (goal, schedule, data) or behavior daily point sheet 2. Team determines who will contact parent to participate in plan development (and students where appropriate) 3. Implement intervention Behavior: 2-6 weeks; no more than 12 weeks Academic: 6-8 weeks (≥80% of recommended); no more than 16 weeks 4. Coach will check fidelity in three weeks Follow Up Tier 2 Meeting Adequate Progress Document progress and contact parents; continue as long as necessary based on Decision Rules 1. Bring quantitative and qualitative data collected to the meeting Progress monitoring data o Academic: AIMSweb o Behavior: CICO daily point sheet New universal screening data (if available) 2. Consultant meets with Grade Level Team Review Intervention Fidelity Checklist and offer additional supports if necessary Team makes decision about adequate progress using Decision Rules Insufficient Progress Use Tier 2 Exit Form when student meets Decision Rules criteria 1. Use student data and Decision Rules to modify frequency/duration or select different intervention 2. Convene a follow up meeting 3. Team determines who will contact parents After second follow-up meeting, move to tier 3 Move to tier 3 process and maintain successful tier 1 and 2 strategies and process Student will receive the intervention that is consistent with the level of severity as identified by the flags.
