MAKE OATH AND SAY (or AFFIRM):

My polling station was the Preston Legion. I filled out the form and was careful to stay inside all of the lines and to only mark one candidate per category.
When my ballot was inserted into the machine, the operator of the machine removed it, then proceeded to pick the machine up, move it around a bit and then placed it back on the stand and turned it off and then back on and removed my ballot and put it in a folder and put it in a pile of other ballots, then informed me that I would have to complete a new ballot.
I questioned him if my ballot was marked wrong or something wrong with it.
He said “No the machine just would not take it and I would have to fill out another one”, which I did.
During this process his cell phone rang, he answered and said, “oh no, I am okay now,
I turned the machine off and on and it seems to be working now”.
