 All The ERT Members Take Their Emergency Position Immediately.
 Alert All The Occupants And Security By Activating Fire Alarm/Using Pa
System/Phone.(Security Contact No: 2400/2225)
 Check All Rooms Lavatories and Storage Areas for Individuals Who May Not Have Heard
the Evacuation Announcement. Medical Emergencies Must Be Immediately Reported To
Security Desk. Attend injured or contaminated person and remove them from exposure.
 Direct/Help Occupants To Evacuate The Building By An Orderly Manner With Out Rushing
And Pushing Through Safe Exit.
 Provide Assistance For Disabled Individuals During An Evacuation.
 Keeping People From Returning To Their Floors.
 Help Fire Brigade To Extinguish The Fire.

WHEN A CHEMICAL SPILL OCCURED- OCCUPANTS SHOULD,
 Alert people in immediate area of spill.
 Wear protective equipment including safety goggles or face shield gloves and
lab coat.
 Avoid breathing vapour from spill.
 Use appropriate kit to neutralize and absorb inorganic acids and bases. For
other chemicals use appropriate kit or absorb spill with vermiculite dry sand
or paper towels. Collect residue, place in container, label the container and
call the safety/security office no: 2400/2225
 Clean spill area with detergent and water.
MAJOR CHEMICAL SPILL




Immediately call the ERT team by dialling 123.
Ensure your own personnel health and safety.
Alert people in surrounding area to evacuate.
In case of personnel contamination remove affected clothing and flush
contaminated skin with water for15 mins. Seek medical attention
immediately.
 Close doors to affected area as you leave.

WHEN A FIRE ALARM ACTIVATED FACILITY MANAGEMENT TEAM SHOULD,
 Inform to all The Team Members and instruct them to take Their Emergency Position
Immediately.
 Silent the fire alarm panel by pressing the silent button on the FAS panel.
 Alert All The Occupants And Security Using Pa System/Phone.(Security Contact Extn No:
2400/2225)
 Check the zone properly in which fire alarm is activated.
IF YOU FOUND A FALSE ALARM THEN,
 Remove the fire alarm detector clean it properly and refit it.
 Reset the panel and observe for 15 minutes.
 Inform to occupants, security team and other officials.
