Directions: At the traffic lights by the Cedars Pub in Wootton, turn right onto Church Road if travelling from Ryde, turn left onto Church Road if travelling from Newport and from Staplers go straight ahead onto Church Road. Wootton Community Primary School is situated on first left. (Please see below for parking provision). Parking: Parking at the Recreation Ground car park (Footways, 2nd left on Church Road, and then take first left into Recreation Ground). Terms and Conditions Any age of entrant is allowed so long as the individual is healthy enough to do so. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at the event by a parent or guardian but the parent or guardian does not have to take part in the run itself. Therefore, children are allowed to run in the event unaccompanied provided the individual supervising them is happy for them to do so. If you have a medical condition that could cause you difficulties during or after the race, please first get clearance from your doctor to participate in the event. For your safety, it is advised that you do not participate in the event if you have had any sickness or symptoms in the week leading up to the event. All participants must write their name and details of any health problems or medication on the reverse of the event number, which must be worn on the front of their shirt during the run. The Start All participants need to be at the start, ready to run 10 minutes prior to the start time. Participants shall then proceed to the start line. All participants must be positioned behind the starting line when starting. COURSE MONITORING Any participant who refuses to obey the directions of the course marshal, or who conducts himself/herself in an unsportsmanlike manner, or who is offensive by action or language to officials, volunteers, participants or spectators may be disqualified by the event and future participation at the discretion of event officials. PARTICIPANT SAFETY Participants are responsible for their recognition and understanding of event signage, symbols and colour relating to participant maps, facilities and direction. Participants are responsible and assume liability for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of training for and/or participation in the event, including but not limited to ambulance transport, hospital stays, physician and pharmaceutical goods and services. Event officials reserve the right to delay, cancel, alter the route or suspend the event due to inclement weather. Withdrawing Runners have the right to cancel any entry made as long as it is done a week prior to the event Disclaimer In order to run in the RAW challenge, runners must agree the following disclaimer: "In completing this entry I declare that I, or anyone that I am paying for, will not compete in the event unless medically fit to do so and that, in any event, we will compete at my/our own risk.
