Point to an object in the classroom. Ask if anyone knows what that is called. Have the students respond with: This is a ____ or That is a___. Selected student will respond with the name of the item using the frame and all students will repeat the sentence. Students will name an object and its function using a specified frame with a partner. Ask the students what is it used for or what is the function. Ask them to discuss that with a partner using the selected frame.
