Ways to Practice Sight Words - finger spell them in shaving cream -practice writing them with a crayon on construction paper -Memory game: Have Misa write the sight words on flashcards (twice) and place them on a table face down. Shuffle them around and flip over 2 cards. Read the sight words out loud. If the sight words match you collect them and take another turn. If they don’t match, flip them back over and the next person tries to make a match. -Go Fish sight word game: Use the same flash cards from the memory game, except this time, you hold them in your hand. Start with 2 or 3 cards. If you are holding the sight word around, ask the other player if they have the sight word around. If the player does not, they will say go fish and the player takes another sight word. Whoever has the most matches by the end of the game wins! -spell the sight words using tiles or scrabble/banana grams -use letter stamps to stamp sight words
