Network Engineer Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with Polygraph Location: Fort Meade, MD Anticipated Start Date: Spring 2015 PCI is actively interviewing candidates for several exciting new positions supporting our government customer. The goal of this project is to support the customer in the development of more effective means and less labor-intensive ways to detect, prevent and respond to the ever growing and increasingly sophisticated set of cyber adversaries. The skills and years of experience required for these positions range from entry level to senior. Listed below are the customer requirements: • Demonstrated experience implementing and sustaining network protocols and configuring networks supporting IPv6 and /or 802.1x authentication • Demonstrated experience deploying FOSS files and Perl libraries • Demonstrated experience programming in C and/or C++ • Demonstrated experience hardening and securing of host services • Required certifications: One or more of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) RedHat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) Microsoft Certified Solution s Expert (MCSE) • Experience with assembling and configuring equipment racks comprised of RAIDs, Switches, Linux Host and installation of fiber optic and copper cabling • Experience administering Linux systems to include installation of servers using PXE (Cobbber/Kickstart), producing RPMs for custom software installation and installation of Ubuntu and RedHat • Experience with the reconfiguration and recompiling of Linux kernels • Experience with GUI development Education Degree in engineering or technically similar degree Experience in network engineering can be substituted for a degree PCI Strategic Management is a premier management consulting firm that assists organizations in defining and executing their strategic vision.
