Cattle Call 2015
ZOETIS ANNOUNCES THE 2015 CATTLE CALL TO
AWARD UP TO $150,000 IN GRANT FUNDING
We are interested in novel approaches to:

Develop statistical models that would allow us to estimate the impact of rumen function and
nutrient utilization changes (e.g., reduction in methane production, change in fatty acid ratio,
increase in propionic acid production) on key cattle performance metrics (e.g., average daily
gain, feed conversion, milk production)

Milk Production: identify relevant pathways/mechanisms, molecular targets and/or lead
candidates for pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical intervention for the stimulation of the
growth, development, maturation or regeneration of mammary gland tissue.
More than one grant may be funded; minimum funding will be $25,000.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Principal Investigators must be in good standing of their professional organization (AABP,
ADSA, CVMA etc) and research must be conducted at a facility in the United States or Canada.
Applications should be no more than 8 pages in length.
