Executive Producer – Job Description
Introduction
Charles Hazlewood, with the British Paraorchestra, is looking to establish a
creative hub in Bristol with the intention of creating new and exciting cultural
collaborations involving diverse sections of the community in the South West.
This new creative hub will build on existing tried and tested projects in
Charles’ musical armoury. It will push creative boundaries further, and across
artforms, by working with existing cultural organisations and groups in Bristol.
Projects will be developed and performed in Bristol, before going further afield
in the South West, the UK and abroad.
The goal is to create a viable, self-sustaining, cultural enterprise.
With the support of Art Council England South West, The Paraorchestra and
Friends are now ready to establish a base in Bristol and appoint an Executive
Producer to work with Charles Hazlewood.
This offers an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced Executive
Producer to play a key role in the establishment and development of a new
organisation, based in Bristol, but with ambitious artistic plans that will be
nurtured in the South West but will have national and international reach.
