Honza Blaha Have you ever dreamed of strength, speed and determination that is greater that your own? One way to try it, you may be riding a horse. On top of that you can get a great teacher and a loyal friend in your horse. But horses don´t speak a human language so we should learn to communicate differently. The most popular horse coach is Honza (John) Blaha in the Czech Republic. Honza Blaha was born in the Czech Republic in 1977. He had always been attracted by horses but it wasn´t until the age of 9 that he got the chance to learn riding. His first mounts were Shetland ponies. A long time has passed since then. Honza bought his first own horse called Gaston. He studied from many people and after discovering the possibility of teaching horses without reins he challenged his teachers and went his own way. Honza found out it was possible to achieve collection even when doing piaffe, passage, flying lead changes as well as pirouette... using entirely no strings. This discovery has affected Honza´s approach to the training of horses as well as people. He is a horseman who endeavors to link the Natural Horsemanship together with the equestrian sport. You can watch him at many shows all over Europe. He is based at the Srbice farm near Klatovy in West Bohemia in the Czech Republic where his horses are boarded including his famous Gaston. Gaston is originally a quite common warmblood horse, not higher than 150 cm. Despite of his small size this horse posseses a great heart and an unbroken spirit. Honza and Gaston both have travelled throughout Europe as well as the USA.
