Responding to your comments, we have worked with the practice to tweak the appointments system to include a limited phone option for next-day appointments. Having a doctors’ timetable available (on the back of the newsletter and as a separate sheet). What do we hope to achieve in the future? The Government wants to increase patient participation and we hope to become more proactive on your behalf. With this in mind we are welcoming 3 new members, as replacements and to enlarge the group a little planning to meet more regularly producing a survey to try to give everyone a clearer picture of patients’ views - more on this in the Autumn. SATURDAY SURGERY. This service has not been well used and ceased on 1st July. Instead the evening Monday surgery will be expanded to offer a doctor and a nurse from 6.30 – 8.45. The staff will work on rotation, booking appointments will be as for afternoons. The Seasonal vaccine is offered free of the year.
