GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer and member of the Administrative Team. The Treasurer is expected to be involved in community functions, activities and organizations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates shall possess or demonstrate the following:

Current Ohio Public School Treasurer’s License

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance

Understanding of school finance, accounting and law

Experience with and understanding of State of Ohio software, Microsoft Excel/Word

Strong communication and public relations skills

Experience with budget development and budget management

Experience with grants and grant administration

Successful experience in financial forecasting

Knowledge of asset tracking

A management style that emphasizes organization, cooperation, and forward thinking

Experience in office staff supervision

Previous experience as an education Treasurer preferred
SALARY/BENEFITS:
The successful candidate will be offered an initial contract in accordance with Ohio statutes. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
