Help PLNA Promote Your Industry and Its Benefits to over 500,000 Consumers at the 2016 PA Farm Show PLNA’s display at the 2016 Pennsylvania Farm Show has two purposes; to educate the consumer about the green industry’s contribution to agriculture in Pennsylvania and to showcase PLNA members. But we can’t do it without your help. We are asking members to step up with plant donations. Plant Donations Our display topic is Sustainable Landscapes. The display incorporates various sustainable concepts including a rain barrel and rain chain, permeable paver patio, rain garden, vegetated retaining wall, vegetated swale and riparian zones with a stream. Accordingly, we need plants that work well in these installations and the members are the best place to obtain those plants. The display area is 90’ by 20’, just to give you a point of reference as to how important the plant material is to the display’s visual impact. We are looking for approximately 1200 plants. Each member company who provides the plants will be recognized both at the display and also on OutdoorLivingPA.com. Attached is a list of plants needed for the various areas. If you have any of these plants and are willing to donate and/or lend them to PLNA for the display, please complete the form below. Please respond as quickly as possible so we can monitor our progress. We are looking for dormant plants. So please, if you have the inventory and haven’t dead-headed or cut back, please don’t. These are the elements we are looking for in the display. We will be collecting the plant material mid to late December. Further instructions as to shipping, etc. will be provided closer to that time. ___________________________________________________________ PLNA 2016 Farm Show Display – Plant Donation Form – Due to PLNA by November 30, 2015 ___ Yes!
