Nesbitt, Pastor Order of Service Obituary On Saturday, April 27, 2013 despite the concerted efforts of the medical staff at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center, and according to the Divine Plan of Our Heavenly Father, an angel was dispatched and called to eternal rest our beloved, Cherry Janelle McKoy McRae. Cherry was born September 14, 1977 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC to Calvin McKoy and Mary E. Mayo. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Deliverance Cathedral of Love Church. She was very active in the church singing with the Sunshine Bees and the Youth Crusaders for Christ. She was also active in Sunday school. She later joined her mother with her ministry at Joy and Deliverance Christian Church. Here she served faithfully, until her passing. She held many positions in the church to help fulfill the work of the Lord. She had a love for the youth of the church and the community. Cherry was a graduate of Enloe High School in Raleigh, NC, Class of 1995. She continued her higher education at North Carolina A & T University where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing in the year of 2000. She was currently enrolled at Duke University Divinity School. She was employed with Charles Schwab as a project portfolio manager. Cherry was a great wife, mother, sister and a wonderful daughter. She loved to read, spend time with her family, friends, shop and travel. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Tyrone McRae of the home.
