Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was
established right from the inception of the Institute in 2010. The Department
offers a four year degree programme in Electronics & Communication
Engineering with an annual intake capacity of 30 students. The department
runs two PG programs in Electronics Design and Manufacturing (EDM) and
Mobile Communication and Computing (MCC), which includes M.Tech
programme. The mission of the Department of Electronics & Communication
Engineering is to produce and disseminate theory, principles, practice and
know-how of computing in the information age, for the critical analysis,
design, evaluation, and improvement of computing systems in tune with the
needs and demands of the changing times. The curriculum strives to keep the
students posted at par with the latest trends of the world. Departmental
research interests have increasingly coalesced around the ways in which
theory of, and design to HEMT, MEMS, OLED, and Solar cells etc. and their
structure through time.
