Interests and Achievements:
My interest in art is fundamental in all aspects of my life. I exhibit my own work and support
artist colleagues by attending private views and exhibitions regularly. I am active in raising money for
charities such as Macmillian, Cancer Research UK, Mencap and Eden Rose (local Cancer charity).
Music is also a big part of my life. I regularly take part in live music events and I have
performed in venues in my local town and beyond with vocals and guitar. I enjoy Swimming, Walking,
Camping and Vegetable Gardening.
For 8 years I worked in commercial industry at Supervisor level. I was responsible for staff of all
ages.
I was chairperson of my sixth form committee, arranging numerous charity events with other
peers and teachers. This was good preparation for my commitments as regional committee member of
West Suffolk NASUWT for which I was actively involved in for 2 years.
