Illness is natural, it comes from within the body and so you observe and record the patient’s symptoms and treat them with herbal remedies and exercise. You write all your treatments down and they are gathered together in The Hippocratic Corpus which is used by doctors until the Middle Ages. Props: a big book called The Hippocratic Corpus Costume: a white sheet and sandals You are the Greek god of healing and people flock to your temples in Cos and Epidaurus to beg you to cure them. With your daughters, Hygeia and Panacea, you treat patients with a mixture of herbal remedies and supernatural prayers. You use snakes in healing rituals; modern doctors’ surgeries often decorate their buildings with a snakes which is a symbol of healing.
