Summary of WebKIDSS Changes Fall 2015
CKCIE WebKIDSS changes









IEP members will now sign on the same line as the documented position.
On the Coordinated Transition Services page you will notice that a fourth text
box, “The following annual goal(s) support this post-secondary goal”, has
been added to each of the post school goals. You are required to list at least
one annual goal that aligns with that particular post secondary goal here. For
examples check the CKCIE Web site……
The Transition Services Addressed page is now the Transition Outcomes Needs
page: There no longer is a drop down list for you to select from. You are to
select which of the Transition Outcome Needs the student has that will
enable them to meet their post-secondary goals. Under Transition services
list the activities that will support the Transition Outcome Needs, including
timeline for implementation and which agency is responsible. There are
samples of this page on the CKCIE website…..
The Interagency Linkages page is now entitled the Vocational Rehabilitation
page: The Post-Secondary Recommended Supports and Contacts section has been
removed. The Transfer of Rights Notice date boxes have been moved from the
IEP planning page to the Vocational Rehabilitation page at the bottom.
The Accommodations and Modifications page has been changed. You will now
find a text box to document your accommodations. The previous listed
accommodations have been removed. Click on the “Link for more information”
above the text box and you will have access to a google document listing the
accommodations that were on our previous version of Webkidss. This document
is similar to an Excel spreadsheet. The document will be a work in progress as
the year progresses. We have created compliant accommodations that can be
copied and pasted into the new IEP addressing: State Assessment, Motor, and
Transportation. As previously mentioned we will be adding compliant
accommodations throughout the coming year to the google document.
The Transportation page has been updated to a text box. You may use the “Link
for more information” to find compliant transportation documentation to copy and
paste.
The State Assessment page has been updated. You will now simply select
General or Alternate. The State Assessment page will display if the student is in
grade two or above. You will document the state assessment accommodations on
the accommodations page.
Parent Concerns/Considerations has been moved to the end of the IEP document.
When printing the IEP – You will find the Parental Notifications, Notification of
the Destruction of SPED Records, and Transfer of Rights will now appear at the
end of the IEP document.

WebKIDSS changes
Logon Information

Modified the Logon dialog so a user can request a new password when they have
forgotten their existing password. If the user logon fails the first time they enter
their username and password, the next time, the Logon dialog has a link for
getting a new password. Click the link and a password will be emailed to you.
Student Data Entry










Added Birthdate to the fields on the Create New Student page.
Modified the "Specify Access for New Student" that comes up when a new
student is created.
Added specification of buildings to the screen for specifying access to the student
when a new student is created.
For an new IEP student, added options for specifying the Primary Provider and
the Primary Attendance Building.
Added field "Assign Child Count" to the create new student screen where
providers and buildings are specified.
Modified the "Is Pri Residence" radio buttons on the Demographics, Custom
Demographics, and Custom Student Startup pages. Only one parent can now be
marked as Is Pri Residence. The others will be marked No.
Added Re-Eval Consent Rec'd Date to the Dates page.
Modified the Goals page. With the change, Goals and Benchmarks for an
Amendment IEP cannot be modified or deleted. However, new goals and
benchmarks for those goals can be created and edited.
Modified the Goals page and the Popup Goals page. If a goal is deleted, the
remaining goals are automatically renumbered.
Modified the Goals page and the Popup Goals page. If a benchmark is deleted, the
remaining benchmarks are automatically renumbered.
Verifications

Added 2 new student verifications (general): "DLM/Alternate selected for State
Assessment Option but no Benchmarks for Goals" and "State Assessment Option
not specified".
