To Support Student Advisory Boards in Every College

Whereas, students have expressed a desire to become more involved with the decision making of
their academic colleges.;
Whereas, some Senators have expressed difficulties in working with the leadership of the colleges
that they are representing.;
Whereas, some current advisory boards successfully connect students with the leadership of their
colleges.;

Be it resolved that, the Senate of the Associated Students of the University of Nevada is in support

of the Provost creating Student Advisory Boards for each academic college, requiring a representative

from the dean’s office of each college to sit on the Student Advisory Board and regularly attend

meetings, and requiring ASUN Senators to sit on the Student Advisory Board of their colleges and

regularly attend meetings.;

Be it further resolved that, a copy of this resolution be sent to the Office of the Provost.
