Teck Resources Ltd. adopts SmartWater CSI as their forensic solution provider in the fight
against tool theft at their Trail Metallurgical Operations site located in British Columbia
Canada.
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – October 15, 2015 - Tech resources has elected to deploy SmartWater
forensically traceable liquid, and SmartWater theft deterrence signs and decals at their Trail
Metallurgical Operations. The invisible tracking system will be sprayed or painted on to just about
everything that can be stolen. The SmartWater solution is only visible under a special UV light and
has a one in a billion forensic code that can be traced back to Teck Resources Ltd. The theft
deterrence signs and decals further reinforce that forensic systems are in play and that thieves will
be dealt with accordingly.
