Register for E-Alert
Our school district is utilizing our website and E-Alert system (Shoemaker Announcements) as the primary means of
communication regarding school events and activities. To join E-Alert, please follow the directions below:












Visit www.woodstown.org website and click on the Select a School arrow in the upper left hand corner of the
screen. Select the Mary S. Shoemaker School from the drop down list.
Once on the Mary S. Shoemaker School page click on the Register link located at the top right hand corner of
the page.
Enter your birth date and click Submit.
o Note: This is your birthdate, not your child’s.
Enter the required fields listed below:
o First Name, Last Name, Email Address and User Name
 This is a User Name created by you that will be used to sign into the Woodstown website.
o Password
 This is a Password created by you that is associated with the User Name you created for the
Woodstown website.
o You will be required to confirm your password by re-entering the password.
o Note: Make sure “Please send me E-Alerts from this site” is checked.
Once complete, click on the Submit button. You will receive the following message:
o Success! You have registered for this site. You can now sign in. Click My Account to edit your
account settings and subscriptions.
Click on Sign In.
o Enter the User Name and Password you just created for the website.
o Click the Sign In button.
 You are now signed into the site. You must now set up your account settings to receive EAlert notices.
Click on the My Account arrow in the right hand corner. Select “Edit Account Settings” from the drop down
list.
Click the Subscriptions link on the left hand side of the window.
o Click on Manage Subscriptions button located on the left hand side of the window.
Click on Other Areas of Interest.
Click on drop-down arrow next to School Districts and Select Mary Shoemaker School
Find Shoemaker Announcements and check that box
Click on the I’m Done button
o You are now set up to receive E-Alerts from the Mary S. Shoemaker School.
Information is sent out via email notification approximately once a week. In addition, please be sure to visit the other
areas of our website to keep abreast of school events. If at any time you have a question or suggestion, please feel free
to email Ms. Cioffi, the principal at cioffi.d@woodstown.org or call 769-0144 ext. 66247.
If you should need a paper copy of information sent home throughout the year, please be sure to let your child’s teacher
know.
