Changes to the exterior paint colors of a house must be consistent with the surrounding community. Colors that were utilized by the original developers, as well as an updated color scheme that was approved the HOA Board of Directors, are acceptable. All other proposed color changes will need to be evaluated by the Architectural Committee on an individual basis. 2. No adjacent houses may use the same color scheme. 3. Changes to the color of garage doors are limited to the color of the house stucco, trim (fascia) or raised stucco window trim. 4. The accent color originally used on each home shall be used only on the front door, shutters, flower boxes and plant shelves. 5. Wood fencing sections that are visible from the street may only be painted white or colors that match the house stucco or trim. 6. Metal fencing must be coated/painted black or other colors that are consistent with the aesthetics of the surrounding community. Improvement Application Requirements for Exterior Paint Projects A complete exterior paint Improvement Application must include the following additional documentation and information: 1. A list of all paint color choices including the manufacturer and color names/numbers. A list of preapproved paint scheme options is available at the Crestmont HOA website (www.crestmont.org) in the Architectural and Landscape Changes section on the link titled “House Paint Colors (pre-approved paint schemes)”. 2. A diagram or listing (see below) that indicates where each color will be used (stucco, stucco trim around windows, wood trim (fascia), front doors, garage doors, fences, gates, etc.).
