Phonological Awareness includes identifying and manipulating larger parts of spoken language, such as words, syllables, onsets and rimes, as
well as phonemes.
Phonemic awareness is one type of phonological awareness. It encompasses the ability to hear, identify and manipulate individual sounds
(phonemes) in spoken words.
