Job Title: Trading Supervisor
Hours: 21 Hours across Mon
– Fri 9am – 5pm
Salary: £21500 Per Annum Pro-rata
Duration: 12 month fixed term with a view to becoming permanent

Job Purpose In partnership with Age UK Enterprises, Age UK Devonwide Enterprises
Ltd acts as an agent selling a range of insurance and other products designed to meet the needs of older people. The commission from these sales supports our charitable work in the area. Having undertaken the necessary training you will sell these products both face to face and over
Main Duties
1. To raise awareness of and sell our range of products and services both face to face, and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
2. Provide line management for trading staff the phone while working to grow the business and ensuring excellent customer service. The nature of this post will require attendance at events to promote the business and at relevant meetings or training events.
Therefore a willingness to travel and the use of a reliable vehicle is essential.
It is essential that the applicant pass the Age UK Supervisor Induction course to be able to carry out the role.
3. Adhere to FCA regulation and Age UK Enterprises’ Training and Competency
Scheme
4. Monitoring performance of new and existing staff
5. Training and Coaching of new and existing staff
6. Deliver excellent customer service across our range of products
7. To support the General Manager in identifying new opportunities for the development of the business including the development of cross selling across the product range.
8. Undertake all training and personal development necessary to meet the standards of the FCA, Age UK Enterprises and Age UK Devonwide Enterprises

9. Be responsible for own compliance and remain up to date in all aspects of our trading activity and procedures.
10. Reconciliation and Banking
11. To work flexibly as part of the Trading team, covering sickness and annual leave, including travel to different locations as required.
12. To undertake any other tasks which are reasonably related to the role.

Probation
Your appointment will be subject to a 6 month probation period.
References
Your appointment is subject to receipt of two satisfactory references and the satisfactory completion of the additional form for all trading staff regulated by the FCA.

Good general standard of education with good numeracy and literacy
