Master of Public Health (GHA0) PROGRAM PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Marshall offers two innovative MPH programs which prepare students for work in public health practice as well as preparing graduates to lead innovation in health care research and policy. Two MPH tracks are built upon a rigorous core curriculum which includes both fundamentals of public health and training in critical crossing cutting disciplines such as informatics, policy, law and ethics. PROGRAM OBJECTIVES The mission of this graduate program in public health is to promote health and reduce disease and disability by training health professionals, conducting research, and providing public education and service, with emphasis on health issues significantly impacting Appalachia.
