2014-2015 Proposed Budget

 Proposed Fundraising o New Verrado School Grant o To Make new school a PTA school o Provide $300 to new school to start up PTA o Technology improvement to provide 3 rd set of laptops

 Leah propsed to lower technology to $8,000 for a

2 year plan. Angie to second that motion

 Teacher Stipends o US Bank provide reloadable gift cards o Waiting to hear from Corporate office o Leah and Sarah to be card name owners to manage them o Meeting the Thursday before school with teachers

Calendar Plan

 Reviewed school year plans for each month and what events will be held to plan for the upcoming school year

Membership Plan

 Teacher Membership $5 for the year (no Refunds)

 Thank you post cards to past members

 Business Letter

 Membership office display to be up for open house

 Welcome Folders to be made

 Membership Incentives o Teachers who get the most members to join PTA will get

$50 gift card to use at the book fair

 Push membership at movie night with a raffle for members

 Sarah is making a new spreadsheet membership list

Shoppers Programs

Welcome Back Breakfast

o Shop on July 29 th for breakfast goods o VES Cafeteria o August 1, 2014 at 7:30am

Open House

o Box Tops o Fry’s o Target Red Card o Harkins Summer Movie Program look into during March o Amazon (Susan to set up) o Letter by open house on how parents can help the school o Susan to get to Leah by July 30 th o August 1, 2014 3:30 – 6:00pm o VES Gym o Expect More AZ o First Things First o Still working on attendance at open house o Need Petty Cash

o Begin distributing order forms at open house o Two order forms stapled with directions attached

 Budget to consist of $300 for food, $100 for drink, $100 for prizes

 Leah to work on flyer and pizza for food

 Sarah, Angie and Lori to help with prizes
