Fleur was born in 2012 and is a very gentle, passive animal. She is a very well configured animal with
a great fleece that is both dense and fine with excellent staple structure. Her fleece stats below
speak for themselves. It is not surprising that with these advantages she has done extremely well in
shows as can be seen below. She is the offspring of our gentle black alpaca, Camilla, who we no
longer breed from as she is 19 and struggles to maintain her weight. However, her fleece is still only
21 micron with a standard deviation of 4.2. Fleur sire is our own stud Wessex Jay, grandson of the
famous Parambette Highlander
In view of her black genetics we decided to try mating her with Inca’s superb black stud, the sire of
many show winners, Jack of Spades. She has been scanned positive with the cria due in May 2015
