We do not anticipate potential costs in complying with this code, particularly given our Company’s clear guidance in its current industrial instruments and policies and procedures. 15) Preventing and Responding to Workplace Bullying Comments due by Friday, 16 December 2011 Comments: (Please include section/page numbers). Recommend a change on page 18 to delete the requirement (at the top of the page) for the notification to the accused to be in writing and similarly the investigator’s notification of outcomes to be in writing. This will depend on a range of factors, including the seriousness of the investigation and, provided the investigator puts the allegations and outcomes verbally and they are clearly understood, then this should be sufficient. It is not reasonable nor practical in all circumstances for “in writing” allegations to be put to the individual. Otherwise, this Code seems fine. Impacts: Do you anticipate any potential costs or safety benefits of complying with this code that are different to current requirements in your jurisdiction? If so what are they? We do not anticipate any extra costs for compliance, as the business has detailed policies and procedures in place concerning bullying. Other Comments
