MECHANICAL MORTARS
BK-Mal 120
SPRAYING CEMENT MORTAR
Application: Spraying cement mortar for manual and mechanical application on exterior and interior
walls (brick, block, siporex block and concrete). It equalizes the absorption capacity of the base and
renders rough surface and therefore improves the adhesiveness prior to rendering with machine
mortars BK-Mal 220 and BK-Mal 420.
Preparation and application: The base to which the mortar is applied must be solid, clean and dry, free
from poorly bound parts. Absorbing bases need wetting or coating with BK-Nivelator prior to
application. The mortar is prepared by intense mixing of the powder with approx. 23-25% of water until
it is fully homogenized. If possible, the mortar should rest a bit, and, prior to use, it has to be mixed once
again and applied to the surface either manually or mechanically. The mortar is applied either
mechanically or manually with plastering trowel or putty knife. It is usually applied in two phases, by
applying the fresh to fresh, mechanical caterpillar method to the previously prepared base. After it is
applied to the wall, the spraying mortar is not levelled, but left rough so that other type of mortar can
be applied over it. BK-Mal 120 is not intended for filling holes on the base. The mortar must harden
evenly. Direct heating of the mortar is not recommended.
Application temperature: +5°C to +30°C. The mortar should be protected from too fast drying.

full homogeneity is achieved. The content rests for approx. 5 min. and then is mixed again and applied
to a wet surface within 60 minutes. It is applied carefully with brush, in two cross coats, until the surface
is fully covered. The thickness of one layer is approx. 1 mm and the other layer is applied after the first
one hardens. The waterproofing coat is to be protected from fast dehydration (sun, wind, etc.).
Consumption: approx. 2-2.5 kg/m2, depending on the base quality.
Application temperature: +5oC to +30oC. Do not work under direct sunlight, wind and rain. High
humidity and low temperatures can extend the coat drying time.
Shelf life: 12 months in the original packaging in a dry room on pallets.
Packaging: 5 kg.
BK-Fleks
WATERPROOFING COAT FOR FLAT ROOFS
Application: Waterproofing, flexible coat is intended for rehabilitation and protection of flat roofs. Its
adhesiveness to concrete is good and the dry film is exceptionally elastic and waterproof.
Preparation and application: The base to which it is applied has to be solid, clean and free from dust. In
case of older surfaces, it is necessary to remove all parts that do not adhere well to the surface and
uneven parts and cracks are to be filled with a flexible filling. It is necessary to impregnate the bases
with BK-Fleks diluted with water in the 1:1 ratio, after which an undiluted dispersion is applied with a
brush. It is recommended to reinforce the coat by inserting a glass grid while the first layer is still wet.
When the first layer is completely dry (min. 12 hours), the second layer is applied, and, if necessary, the
third as well.
Application temperature: 5oC to 25oC. Until the film hardens it is necessary to protect the coat from a
direct impact of rain, fast drying and frost.
Consumption: approx. 0.7 kg/m2, depending on the roughness of the base.
Shelf life: 18 months in the original packaging. Store at temperatures between +5oC and +25oC,
protected from sunlight and freezing.
Packaging: 8 and 20 kg.
Important: Surfaces to which BK-Fleks is applied must have a slight inclination and steam barrier.
BK-HidroStop 5/5
TWO-COMPONENT WATERPROOFING FLEXIBLE COAT
Application: Two-component, waterproofing, flexible, polymer-cement coat for horizontal and vertical
protection from humidity. It is used for waterproofing of potentially humid rooms: kitchens, bathrooms,
shower cabins, swimming pools, cellars, terraces etc. It is intended for interior and exterior use, for the
positive and negative, ≤1.5 bar, water pressure.
Preparation and application: The surface to which BK-HidroStop 5/5 is applied has to be solid, free
from dust, free from grease, mould and poorly bound parts. Smooth, poorly absorbing types of concrete
are to be coated with BK-Beton Kontakt. The coat is prepared by adding the powdery A component into
the liquid B component against mixing until full homogenization. The content is to rest for approx. 5
min. and then mixed again. For the first layer 10% of water may be added to the prepared content. The
prepared content is to be used within 1 hour. The layer thickness is approx. 1 mm, and the second layer
is applied after the previous hardens. The waterproofing coat is to be protected from fast dehydration
(sun, wind, etc.).
Application temperature: +5oC to +30oC.
Consumption: approx. 2-2.5 kg/m2, depending on the base quality.
Shelf life: 12 months in the original packaging in a dry room on pallets.
Packaging: 10 kg (two components packed together).
