National Assembly Square with the impressive King Liberator Monument, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, - St. Nikolay

Bansko - Thessaloniki
07:00 Departing to Thessaloniki. Stop on the way for refreshment.
11:00 Arriving at Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is the second largest town in Greece and the capital of Northern Greece.
Visiting Thessaloniki will give you a unique chance to see this glorious place in only one day and to get acquainted with
its rich history. You will see the Arch of Constantin, the Church Saint Sofia, the Rotonda Saint George, the White Tower,
the Square of Aristotelis, the Roman Forum and the Byzantine Walls surrounding the town. You will admire beautiful
views from the promenade and will enjoy a real Greek "frappé".

Bansko - Melnik
09:00 Morning departure from Bansko and departure to Melnik. Melnik is the smallest town in Bulgaria. Original
mediaeval houses, together with the ruins of a fortress are preserved here. The town is famous for its wine cellars
producing the best red wine in the country. Possibility for wine tasting during the tour (against additional charge). The
nature around is picturesque and you can see the biggest rocky pyramids in Bulgaria.
13:00 Free time for lunch and walking around the main street filled of souvenirs, homemade jams, honey and liquors.
14:00 Drive back to Bansko. Possibility to stop on the way to visit Rozhen Moanstey Тhe Rozhen monastery is one of the
few medieval monasteries, which has preserved its original appearance and authentic architecture. It is to be found 6
km east of Melnik and it is one of the biggest monasteries in Bulgaria which was built in 1220. The miraculous icon of
Virgin Mary is one of the monastery treasures.

09:00 – departing from Bansko to biggest and most significant monastery I Bulgaria –Rila Monastery. Visit the area and
getting familiar with its history, architecture, culture. Free time in the area. Then continuing for having lunch in the
mountauins. After lunch driving to Blagoevgrad and visit of the city. Return to hotel around 16:30-17:00.
